How to add Files and Images to Jobs

Now you can upload files and images to jobs, estimates and invoices, which you can then send to customers. Just upload the images of files, add a description, and send it off to your customer and you’re good to go. Now you can send customer before and after pictures, waivers of cancellations, warranties, pictures from a job or whatever it is that you need to do, with this brand-new feature!

How to Add Files and Images to a Job:

1. Log in to your Workiz account.
2. Open an existing job from your dashboard.
3. Click the History tab, to view your job’s file attachments.

4. View your attached files in the Attachments section.
Alternatively, if you’d like to one, click the Add Attachments button to attach your file or image.

5. Once your file has been added, you can view and edit your file info.
   a. View your attachment: Click the file icon.

b. Edit your file name and description: Click the text located to the right of the file icon to edit your file text.

6. Click Save, to save any changes made.

How to Send an Invoice with Files and Images Attached

1. Log in to your Workiz account.
2. Open an existing job from your dashboard.
3. Click the Finance tab, to create an invoice.

4. Click Create Invoice.

5. The Invoice screen appears.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page, to the Attachments section.
a. To view your files attached to this invoice: Click the file icon.

  b. To add a new file to this invoice: Click Add Attachments.

c. To delete a file attached to this invoice: Hover over the text located to the right of the file icon and click the Delete button.

6. Scroll to the top of the page and click Actions.
7. From the dropdown, select Send.

8. The Send Invoice screen opens.
Fill in the required info, and select whether to send this by sms or email to your customer.

9. Your customer should receive an email or an sms with their invoice, attached with all relevant files or images.

How to Add Files and Images to a Job, from Inside Your Workiz Mobile App

1. Log in to your Workiz mobile app.
2. Open an existing job from your dashboard.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Click the Attachments section.
4. 
The Attachments screen opens.
Click the + (plus sign, located at the top right) to add an attachment from your Camera or your Phone’s Gallery.
5. Click the (arrow sign, located at the top left) to go back to your job.

How to Send an Invoice with File and Image Attachments, from your Workiz Mobile App.

1. Log in to your Workiz mobile app.
2. Open an existing job from your dashboard.
3. Click the Invoice section, inside your job
4. 
From the Invoice screen, scroll down to Signatures section, and click Attachments.
From this screen you can see the see the images or files associated with this invoice.
5. 
Click Attach to attach your images or files to this invoice. The button is now green and says Attached.
6. Click the ← (arrow sign, located at the top left) to go back to your Invoice.

7.Click Quick Actions.

8. The Invoice Actions screen appears.
Select Send.

9. The Send Invoice screen opens.
