Adding clients

Workiz keeps track of your clients for you. Every time you add a new job the application creates a new client for you (unless assigned to an existing one).
The clients can be searched or accessed by navigating to “Clients” from the left navigation.

To add a new client regardless of a job in the clients page, click the “Add client” button on the top right.



Next you will need to fill out the clients information.

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Company 
  • Email Address
  • Phone number
  • Additional Phone
  • Fax
  • Notes – Any notes about this client for future reference.
  • Allow billing – Do you allow closing jobs with a due balance for this client?
  • Address

When done click “Create Client”.

Now when you add a new job, Workiz will pick up on this client in the client auto search so you may assign the job to this client.
